Bont Adult Wrist Guard Skate Pads

Designed by professional Roller Derby and Park Skaters for maximum comfort and support, the Bont Adult Wrist Guard offers heavy-duty protection suitable for all types of skating and outdoor action sports, including roller skating, roller derby, park skating, inline, skateboard, BMX, and scooter.

Featuring a slide-on sleeve design made with 4-way stretch nylon mesh and a middle strap, the wrist guard provides a tight yet comfortable fit. The high-density, impact-resistant molded ABS dual splints deliver front and back protection, while the shock-absorbing EVA foam between the support splints offers cushioning for the wrist.

Developed by the team at Bont, a brand founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational speed skater, decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support, these wrist guards have undergone and passed the EN 14120:2003+A1:2007 safety rating.

Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic materials like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986, and carbon fiber in 1989, as well as being the first to use heat-moldable resins and thermoplastics. In the 1980s, Bont dominated the quad racing scene with the lightest and strongest boots on the market, thanks to their unique one-piece manufacturing technique. They were also the first quad skate company to use lace covers, Velcro, and aluminum strengtheners in their boots.
